ALYSSA TUROWSKI
Alyssa Turowski is currently the General Manager at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. She is responsible for overseeing the guest experience and hotel operations of the 394-guestroom resort with nearly 40,000 sq ft of meeting space. The property is set amidst the prestigious Torrey Pines Golf Course, adjacent to the South Course 18th green with majestic views of the Pacific Ocean.
NIVEESHA HILL
Niveesha Hill works with Dual Properties, Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in San Diego - Del Mar. Hill previously worked as a General Manager of the independent property, Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel in the Carlsbad Beach area of San Diego and the Hyatt Place in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois. Hill has progressive leadership experience in operations, sales, marketing and team development.
COLLEEN ANDERSON
Colleen Anderson is the Executive Director of San Diego Tourism Marketing District (SDTMD), a nonprofit, mutual-benefit corporation dedicated to improving lodging room night consumption in the City of San Diego. She joined SDTMD in 2018 and oversees the strategic distribution of tourism marketing district funds to produce the greatest return on investment for assessed hotels and the City of San Diego.
JOYCE LEVESTON
Joyce Leveston serves as the Senior Vice President of Convention Centers for OVG360 (formerly Spectra). She has oversight responsibility of more than 46 convention and conference centers in the OVG360 portfolio. She is recognized as a dynamic executive leader, delivering first-class customer service, and navigating exceptional client relationships. She is a leader that continues to challenge the industry on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion while opening doors and access for others.
VANESSA YBARA DAVIS
Vanessa Ybarra Davis is the General Manager of Broadway San Diego, the National Touring Presenter in San Diego. If you have seen exciting Broadway shows here in San Diego, you have a glimpse of what she has had the privilege of calling “work” for almost 24 years. In addition to presenting the tours, she proudly serves on multiple committees, including Audience Engagement, and previously served as a mentor for the Group Sales committee for New York’s Broadway League, The National Trade Association for the Broadway Theatre Industry.
MARDEEN MATTIX
As Chief Financial Officer, Mardeen Mattix leads the San Diego Convention Center’s finance, information technology, and human resources areas. She started her career at SDCC more than 20 years ago, in 1998, gaining a broad base of expertise from her varied positions in event management, accounting, and sales. In 2018, she assumed her role as CFO and became part of SDCC’s Executive Team.
NANCY LATURNO
Nancy Laturno co-founded Mainly Mozart in 1988. Under Laturno’s leadership, Mainly Mozart has grown from a two week festival into a year-round producer of world-class orchestral and chamber music concerts, youth orchestra, outreach for students and adults, and innovative programs such as Mozart & the Mind. She is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s strategic, artistic and operational planning and implementation.
