OUR MISSION

W.I.T.H. supports, empowers, and strengthens diversity and inclusion for women in the hospitality industry and provides education, leadership strategies, mentorship, and networking opportunities in a forward-thinking environment.

WHO WE ARE

Women in Tourism and Hospitality (W.I.T.H.) was founded in 2015 by Clara Carter. Its original mission was to acknowledge C-suite trailblazing women for their work in the hospitality and tourism industry. Clara expanded the W.I.T.H. mission in response to the positive reception and encouraging feedback she received and the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.  In 2020, she formed Women in Tourism and Hospitality, International (W.I.T.H. Int’l.), a California non-profit Corporation that aims to provide strategies for professional growth and prosperity for women and strategies for achieving diversity and inclusion in the industry.
