about Maureen ‘Mo’ Carew
Maureen Carew, Retired General Manager with over 45 years in Hospitality, enjoyed her career in both San Diego and Colorado Springs at the Town & Country Hotel and Convention Center, Marriott Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Rancho Bernardo Inn and Grand Pacific Palisades Resort.
Beginning her career as a Front Desk Agent, Maureen rapidly ascended the ranks to Front Office Manager, Director of Housekeeping, Director of Services and Hotel Operations, Assistant General Manager, before assuming her role of General Manager.
Maureen furthered her professional development as a Member of San Diego Marriott Business Council, North San Diego Business Chamber of Commerce, San Diego Hotel-Motel Association (Board Member), Rancho Bernardo Business Association and San Diego Tourism Authority (Board Member), keeping abreast of the latest in Local and Industry Trends.

Now retired, Maureen is passionate about her Faith, Family, Travel with her husband, Wine Tasting, Cooking, Gardening, Photography, and dedicates time volunteering at Catholic Charities Homeless Outreach Program and Charity and Social Outreach Ministry at her church.
