2022 WITH Awards
MCCSN focuses on concerns relating to women in the workplace and the changing landscape of tourism and hospitality by presenting the WITH Awards to industry trailblazers. This award is presented during the annual WITH luncheon. This segment of the conference has led to WITH’s recognition as the premier organization celebrating the contributions of professional women leading the way in tourism and hospitality. We would like you to help us recognize their unwavering impact to our industry.
The women selected to receive the MCCSN W.I.T.H. award prove that:
The tourism and hospitality industry is wide, deep and complex.
The industry is one of the largest employers and a big economic contributor for most cities.
The industry teaches leadership, big picture thinking, strategy development and, most
importantly, customer service.
The industry is rich with opportunities for personal and professional growth and often provides
lifelong and rewarding careers.
Women have leveraged those opportunities and made an enormous impact on their community,
city, state, and the world. Women have contributed to the advancement of the tourism and
hospitality industry. And, women have provided inspiration to and opportunities for the
professional development of their colleagues and of future generations.
Annually, the hospitality industry nominates extraordinarily talented female executives who are leading the way and making significant contributions in tourism and hospitality while empowering tomorrow’s leaders. MCCSN’s nomination committee narrows the selection process to the final six. The six women will present in a moderated panel discussion during the W.I.T.H. awards luncheon event, in a fun and elegant environment that is informative, inspirational, community building and energizing for all who attend.
MCCSN also presents W.I.T.H. scholarship awards during the luncheon to leave a legacy within qualifying women students residing in the San Diego region, 18 years and older, attending a trade school, college, or university with a major in tourism and hospitality.
Industry colleagues, you now have the opportunity to nominate a woman who embodies the traits, industry experience and accomplishments we are seeking in an awardee. We have composed a team of industry leaders to review nominations and select the awardees.

Think of a woman you’ve worked with, or a peer who would be perfect for this honor. A role model, an achiever, a woman who combines extraordinary imagination and generosity with realism and action. A woman whose outstanding contributions to the tourism and hospitality industry deserve the spotlight. A game changer, a rule breaker, a trailblazer. A woman who is WITH it!
