Claudia Ludlow’s story is deeply rooted in San Diego, a city she proudly calls home. Her upbringing spanned the vibrant neighborhoods of Barrio Logan, Coronado, Imperial Beach, and South San Diego—each shaping her perspective and passion for community.
Currently the General Manager of the historic Glorietta Bay Inn in Coronado, Claudia is leading her third historic property in the city. Her hospitality career began at the iconic Hotel Del Coronado, followed by the U.S. Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego. With 32 years in the industry, she has become a devoted ambassador for San Diego, showcasing its charm to visitors worldwide.
Claudia holds certifications in HR Management from the San Diego Employers Association, Nonprofit Management from the University of San Diego, and Hotel Revenue Management from the California Lodging Association. A graduate of the 2019 Latino Success Leadership Program with MANA de San Diego, she remains active in tourism and community leadership.
She currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Discover Coronado and as a Board Member for the Coronado Chamber of Commerce. Under her leadership, the Glorietta Bay Inn team has earned honors from the California Hotel and Lodging Association, including Best Guest Relations (2012–2013) and Outstanding General Manager, plus national recognition for Best Guest Relations in 2014.
In 2023, Claudia received the James V. Cunningham Personalized Service Award from HSMAI San Diego, recognizing her consistent commitment to service and hospitality excellence.
